Foz de Iguazu - Brazil
We crossed over the border with no hassle whatsoever. We wanted to see the falls from the brazilan side aswell, so off we went. Foz de Iguazu was a much bigger town and we got hassled alot when we got off the bus by touts who won;t take no for an answer. So we finally found our hotel that we were staying in. Fab hotel but with backpacker prices (sweet).
We went to "Itaipu Dam" the worlds largest dam and one of the modern wonders of the world. It was massive, but here was no water coming from the overflows and the level of the river and lake was down. But was good to see. We also went to this santuary where we got to see jaguars and some other interesting animals.
We had dinner in this famous BBQ restaurant, O My God, we have never seen so much meat and different various of it. The salad bar was excellent and the service was perfection. This was a good splurge, well worth the money.
We saw the falls from the brazilan side but they were't as impressive, it was more of an overview. In argentina it's the up close view of them. But worth the effort.
