Jacquie And Al's World Tour

Here you'll find the latest ramblings as I travel the world with my other half Jacquie. God only know's what wonderful sights we'll see, what fanastic diseases we'll catch (i'm personally hoping for avian flu), life altering experiences etc etc. So stay tuned as the adventure unfolds. Oh and for some fun, you can also interact with us as we travel with a version of "Where's Wally?" called "Where's Bear ?" On some pictures a little yellow bear might appear. Can you see him ?

Argentina - home of tango

We landed in Buenos Aires about 7.30am and had to walk around abit to find our hostel, It was a nice hostel but so flipping noisey. BA was a big change from Peru. BA is very european, and it was lucky we arrived on a sunday and that early in the morning cause usually the streets are packed, now that would have been a nightmare with our backpacks.

Al was on a mission here to eat steak, apparently the best in the world. So on our first night we went to find him some steak, we also managed to consume far too many bottles of wine and Al was Very very drunk, the food was excellent and totally worth the splurge. We did't really go out of our way to see things in BA. I (jacqs) was having a small attack of travel wiery-ness therefore having zero motivation. But we ate out everynight and drank our little sorrows away.
