Here you'll find the latest ramblings as I travel the world with my other half Jacquie. God only know's what wonderful sights we'll see, what fanastic diseases we'll catch (i'm personally hoping for avian flu), life altering experiences etc etc. So stay tuned as the adventure unfolds. Oh and for some fun, you can also interact with us as we travel with a version of "Where's Wally?" called "Where's Bear ?" On some pictures a little yellow bear might appear. Can you see him ?

Magnetic Island

We got the ferry over to "Maggie Island" where the weather was fab and we were happy instantly. We stayed in "Picnic bay" the first couple of nights. We did some walks during the day and explored shipwrecks from land (they were so close to shore) We moved to "Horseshoe bay" where we finally got to spend some time on the beach and relax. Our accommodation was great, we stayed in little wooden hut, with all sorts of wild life running about the place, it was also a sanctuary. We did do the famous "Forts Walk" where you can spot wild koalas (which we did) It is full of old army forts, gun placements and amazing lookouts. We also bumped into Carmela again (swiss girl) which was nice and before we left we ate the most amazing mexican ever.
