Jacquie And Al's World Tour

Here you'll find the latest ramblings as I travel the world with my other half Jacquie. God only know's what wonderful sights we'll see, what fanastic diseases we'll catch (i'm personally hoping for avian flu), life altering experiences etc etc. So stay tuned as the adventure unfolds. Oh and for some fun, you can also interact with us as we travel with a version of "Where's Wally?" called "Where's Bear ?" On some pictures a little yellow bear might appear. Can you see him ?

Great Keppel Island

We stayed in a tent on the island which was kinda funky, until it rained one night and all our clothes got really damp. They used a generator for electricity and that got put off at 11pm each night so then all you had was your torch. We did some snorkeling here but the water was cold, the coral was rubbish and the current made it too murky to see anything. Weather wasn't too bad and we did manage to beach it one day. We did a couple of walks here and mostly it was around the rocks and stuff so we are pretty good at clambering on the rocks now. Was glad to leave here a bit too primitive, maybe at a different time we would have appreciated it more.
