Jacquie And Al's World Tour

Here you'll find the latest ramblings as I travel the world with my other half Jacquie. God only know's what wonderful sights we'll see, what fanastic diseases we'll catch (i'm personally hoping for avian flu), life altering experiences etc etc. So stay tuned as the adventure unfolds. Oh and for some fun, you can also interact with us as we travel with a version of "Where's Wally?" called "Where's Bear ?" On some pictures a little yellow bear might appear. Can you see him ?

Myella Farm Stay

This is a working cattle farm. I was here before, 6 years ago on my first trip to oz and thought Al would benefit from doing some hard labour for a change. We milked cows, collected eggs from the chuck pen, saddled our horses, went on two hour rides to muster cattle, (sore asses all round) spotted a black headed python, red back spiders (very venomous) lizards, fed the horses, washed the helmets, oiled the saddles, rode around the property on dirt bikes and Al managed to stall his bike on a meat ant nest and they attacked him. We had two joeys always by the camp fire and all our food was cooked on the camp fire. It was an excellent experience even second time around.
