Hiroshima

Arrived in Hiroshima today. It took awhile and by the time we had arrived here we were both pretty knackered, Al had almost shut down completely so we got some food and slept. The next day we went to the 'Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum', 'The A-bomb Dome', and 'Peace Memorial'. Now what can be said about this place...... in fairness it's sad, eerie but very interesting and educational and it shows you that our world is totally fucked up and that some crazy person at the end of button could wipe out the human race instantly. It's a place that will have an impact on you and not a very nice one, you feel slighty deflated by it all and some of the images in it are not for the faint hearted they don't try and cover up the truth, it's right there staring you in the face. While we were there, there was lots of school kids there and while watching the one of many visuals, i happend to notice one girl going around with her mates holding a book over her eyes so she did't have to look at everything, i knew how she felt. We also went to see the 'Hiroshima Castle'. So we leave here tomorrow and head to Kyoto for 4 days, so we will inform you of what that is like soon.
