Bye Bye New Zealand
Well we are finally on the move again and looking forward to the new adventures that we will encounter.
We finally finished up our jobs (thank goodness) and spent a few days sorting out all our stuff and sending boxes home full of bits and pieces that we have collected over the last 6 mths and it will be the last box to send home, damn it was expensive to post it.
The girls who worked in our hostel Lynn and Aya also left and went on to do some more traveling so the hostel was not the same without them, they were two great girls to live with and we will miss getting pissed with them and teaching Aya swear words. I can honestly say her english has improved alot especially with all our training, all i can say is god help japan when she goes back there :) . So we we're also glad to be moving on even though the new girls were very nice Judith and Ina.
On our last weekend in Christchurch we went ice skating with Lynn, Aya, Yuko (aya's friend from japan) and seiko another japanese girl that stayed in our hostel, so off we went, now bare in mind not one of us had skated in over 10 yrs, so after an hour or so of slipping sliding and falling we called it a night and decided that it was a much better idea to head to the local pub instead.
So we got a flight from Christchurch to Auckland and spent 4 days there to catch up with Brian and Jay who are working away up here. It was abit boring been back in auckland as we had spent so much time there before that we didn't know what to do or see plus it rained for the 4 days we were here. We did however go to a comedy show on the saturday night we were here as the comedy festival had just started. We went to a live and loud show which had about 5 comedians on. It was a good and funny night. Before the show we went for a mongolian bbq which was absolutely divine, if any of you have never had one then you should go because it's a wonderful experience and the food is to die for. Yum ! Yum !
So now it's on to the land down under and we are very excited about it, we are looking forward to the warm sunshine on our pale skin.
