Jacquie And Al's World Tour

Here you'll find the latest ramblings as I travel the world with my other half Jacquie. God only know's what wonderful sights we'll see, what fanastic diseases we'll catch (i'm personally hoping for avian flu), life altering experiences etc etc. So stay tuned as the adventure unfolds. Oh and for some fun, you can also interact with us as we travel with a version of "Where's Wally?" called "Where's Bear ?" On some pictures a little yellow bear might appear. Can you see him ?

Yes, we are still alive

Hi all,

Yes we know it's been 3 weeks since the last blog update and all we can say is the internet in NZ is so bad it's not been worthwhile even trying to get some stuff onto the blog. Even this is going to be quick. Since Franz Josef we've been to Queenstown (cool place, I did a canyon swing which was superb amongst many other things), then onto Dunedin (the Scottish NZ city) which again was great, then onto Oamaru and the penguin colonys then Lake Tekapo and now finally Christchurch. We've decided to spend about a month here as we're sick of packing bags and moving around everyday - nice to recharge the batteries. We have somewhere to live for the month and may even plan on getting some work just to break up the day. I'll type up more of the stuff we actually did later this week and get it uploaded. I did pop some new pics onto my flickr account though (click the Photo's link to the right).

Hope all of you are good and of course are still missing us ;-)

Take it easy out there

Al and Jacq's

Well, welcome, er.. back.
And we thought you survived the mountain just to get flattened by a St Paddy's day parade..!

Yeah we managed to survive the carnage of another Paddys day in a foreign country. Of course it was the usual drunken messy afair with the irish crawling out of the woodwork and getting wasted. Honestly is there any Irish people left in Ireland ?

Classic news I love hearing that the Jambo's are in more strife with the dictator at the helm. Hopefully the Hibbies can record a victory in the semi final. Moan the Hibs :-)

Hi Big A,

This is my first time - sorry I haven't been keeping up with the latest like Stock has been.

Anyway, sounds like you guys are having a great time. Things are still same old, same old in Edinburgh - We had snow last week, and it is currently raining!

All the best, and I'll try and keep up a little more.

Regards,

Obi

Hey Obi,

Nice to hear from you and also to hear that the weather in Scotland is a pile of pap. Snow at the end of March - nice one!

Not much else to report here, we're still in Christchurch toying with getting a job for something different to do.

Speak soon

Al
